Students who desire the benefit of an undergraduate education in the liberal arts and sciences prior to pursuing a more technical or specialized degree and career are able to take advantage of several dual degree programs and academic partnerships that 猫咪社区 has with other universities.

Applicants to this program are offered two options; each results in an undergraduate engineering degree, but the latter adds an engineering master鈥檚 degree.
In the first option, students spend three or four years at 猫咪社区 and two years at the (WashU). In the dual bachelor's degree program, the student receives two degrees, a Bachelor of Science (or Bachelor of Arts) from 猫咪社区 and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from WashU, after completing a 3-2 or 4-2 plan (three or four years at 猫咪社区 followed by two years at WashU).
Students who opt for a 3-3 plan (three years at 猫咪社区 and three years at WashU) will receive a Bachelor of Science from 猫咪社区 and both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in engineering from WashU. 猫咪社区 students accepted into the 3-3 program will receive tuition discounts at WashU that start at 50%.

This program serves students who are interested in completing a Bachelor鈥檚 degree with a major in physics from 猫咪社区 and a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Memphis. Students who participate in this program receive both degrees after five years. The typical student in this program takes three years of coursework at 猫咪社区, followed by two years of coursework and research at the University of Memphis. All students become eligible for graduate assistantships after the completion of their undergraduate coursework. The typical graduate assistantship includes a full tuition-and-fees scholarship and a monthly salary.

In this program, students receive two degrees after five years of study: a Bachelor of Science from 猫咪社区 and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Christian Brothers University (CBU). Students attend 猫咪社区 for three years, majoring in physics, chemistry, or biochemistry/molecular biology, and then study a related engineering field for two years at CBU.

This accelerated program serves students who are interested in completing a master鈥檚 degree in biomedical engineering (BME) and ideally are advanced in math and science at the start of their 猫咪社区 career. Students attend 猫咪社区 for three years, majoring in chemistry or physics, and then study biomedical engineering at the University of Tennessee and University of Memphis for two years. Upon completion, students receive a Bachelor of Science from 猫咪社区 and a Master of Science in biomedical engineering from the University of Tennessee and University of Memphis Joint Program in Biomedical Engineering.

The 猫咪社区-Vanderbilt Liberal Arts-Nursing Four-Two Program allows students to earn a bachelor鈥檚 degree at 猫咪社区 and a master鈥檚 degree in nursing at Vanderbilt. A prospective nursing student completes all the requirements for a bachelor鈥檚 degree at 猫咪社区, and at the same time fulfills prerequisites for admission into the graduate program of Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. In the senior year at 猫咪社区, a student applies for admission to the Vanderbilt School of Nursing for study in one of the nursing specialty areas that it offers.

猫咪社区 students are eligible for guaranteed admission to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Nursing to pursue training as a Registered Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner. Students also have the option of completing a PhD in nursing. This guaranteed admission pathway includes an accelerated 12 month BSN followed by training for certification and licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or one of several other advanced nursing specialties.

猫咪社区 students are eligible to apply for a Five-Year Cooperative Degree Program offered by Georgetown University鈥檚 Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS). The program allows undergraduates with a demonstrated commitment to Latin American Studies the opportunity to earn a Bachelor鈥檚 degree and a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies in five years.
